R. Ierúsalem, / cito véniet salus tua: † Quare mœróre consúmeris? † numquid consiliárius non est tibi, quia innovávit te dolor? * Salvábo te, et liberábo te, noli timére.
V. Ego enim sum Dóminus, Deus tuus, † Sanctus Israël, Redémptor tuus.

R. Thy salvation cometh quickly, O Jerusalem; why art thou wasted with sorrow? Is there no counselor in thee, that pangs have taken thee? * Fear not, for I will save thee and deliver thee.
