R. The Angel of the
Lord was sent down unto Zacharias, saying: Thou shalt beget a son in thine
old age; * and his name shall be called John the Baptist.
V. The child shall be
great in the sight of the Lord; for His hand is with him.
R. And his name shall
be called John the Baptist.
