Noë altáre Dómino, ófferens super illud holocáustum: † odoratúsque est
Dóminus odórem suavitátis, et benedíxit ei, dicens: * Créscite, et
multiplicámini, et repléte terram.

R. Noah built an Altar unto the
Lord, and offered burnt offerings on the Altar; and the Lord smelled a sweet
savour, and blessed Noah, and said: * Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth.
V. Behold, I establish My covenant
with you, and with your seed after you.
