† Ecce somniátor venit: * Veníte, occidámus eum, et videámus si prosint illi
sómnia sua.
V. Cumque vidissent Ioseph fratres sui, quod a patre cunctis
frátribus plus amarétur, † oderant eum, nec poterant ei quidquam pacífice
loqui, † unde et dicébant.

R. And when his brethren saw Joseph afar off, they said one
to another Behold, this dreamer cometh. * Come, let us slay him; and we shall
see what will become of his dreams.
V. And when his brethren saw that their father loved Joseph
more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably
unto him; therefore they said.
R. Come, let us slay him; and we shall see what will become
of his dreams.
