Sub tantis patribus - Cluny abbots

. Sub tantis pátribus / Cluniáci laus per omnes diffundebátur ecclésias, † sancta Régula novo decóre refúlsit, monastéria veterascéntia refloruérunt, * Et per orbem monachórum exércitus sacro fœdere devínctus militávit, alleluia.
. Under such fathers the praise of Cluny spread through the whole Church, the Holy Rule shone with new lustre, and ancient monasteries flourished afresh. * And throughout the whole world the army of monks, bound by a sacred covenant, fought on, alleluia.
. The house of Cluny is built as a city: thither the tribes of the Lord go up, to confess the name of the Lord.
. And throughout the whole world the army of monks, bound by a sacred covenant, fought on, alleluia.
. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
. And throughout the whole world the army of monks, bound by a sacred covenant, fought on, alleluia.
