Hic qui advenit - Octave Day of the Nativity no 4

R. Et omnis chorus Angelórum in albis sequúntur illum.
V. Glória Patri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sancto.
R. Et omnis chorus Angelórum in albis sequúntur illum.
R. This is he who comes, whose name no man knows but he himself; he is called the word of the Lord, dressed in shining clothes * And all the choirs of angels followed him, dressed in white.
V. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many diadems.
R. And all the choirs of angels followed him, dressed in white.
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
R. And all the choirs of angels followed him, dressed in white.

Animam meam dilectam - Good Friday no 6

R. I have given the dearly-beloved My soul into the hand of her enemies and Mine heritage is become unto Me as a lion in the forest; the enemy crieth out against Me, saying: Assemble yourselves together, hasten to devour Him: they have made My portion a desolate wilderness, and the whole land mourneth unto Me:* Because there is none found that will know Me, nor do well.
V. There be risen up against me such as breathe out cruelty, and they have not spared my soul.
R. Because there is none found that will know Me, nor do well.

Contumelias et terrores - Holy Week Tuesday No 1

R. I have suffered defaming and fear from them that were my familiars they watched for my halting, saying Let us entice him, and prevail against him. But Thou, O Lord, art with me, as a Mighty Terrible One.* Let them stumble into everlasting confusion, that I may see thy vengeance upon them, for unto thee have I opened my cause.
V. O Lord, plead Thou the cause of my soul, Thou That art the Redeemer of my life.
R. Let them stumble into everlasting confusion, that I may see thy vengeance upon them, for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Conclusit vias meas - Psalm Sunday No 5

R. Conclúsit / vias meas inimícus, insidiátor factus est mihi sicut leo in abscóndito, † replévit et inebriávit me amaritúdine: † deduxérunt in lacum mortis vitam meam, et posuérunt lápidem contra me.* Vide, Dómine, iniquitátes illórum: † et iúdica causam ánimæ meæ, defénsor vitæ meæ.
V. Factus sum in derísum omni pópulo meo, cánticum eórum tota die.
R. Vide, Dómine, iniquitátes illórum: † et iúdica causam ánimæ meæ, defénsor vitæ meæ.
 R. The enemy hath enclosed my ways he lay in wait for me as a lion in secret places he hath filled me and made me drunken with bitterness they have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.* O Lord, behold all their iniquity, and plead the cause of my soul, Thou That art the Redeemer of my life!
V. I was a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
R. O Lord, behold all their iniquity, and plead the cause of my soul, Thou That art the Redeemer of my life!
