R. Esuriénte terra Ægýpti, clamávit pópulus ad regem, aliménta petens. Quibus ille respóndit: * Ite ad Ioseph, et quidquid vobis dixerit, fácite.
V. Crescebat quotídie fames in omni terra, aperuítque Ioseph univérsa horrea, et vendebat Ægýptiis.
R. Ite ad Ioseph, et quidquid vobis dixerit, fácite.
R. When all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to the king for bread. And the king said unto all the Egyptians * Go unto Joseph; and what he saith to you, do.
V. The famine was more grievous every day over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians.
R. Go unto Joseph; and what he saith to you, do.
