R. Vos, qui aliquándo erátis longe, facti estis prope in sánguine Christi: * Ipse enim est pax nostra, qui fecit útraque unum.
V. Complácuit per eum reconciliare ómnia in ipsum, pacíficans per sánguinem crucis ejus, sive quæ in cælis sunt.
R. Ipse enim est pax nostra, qui fecit útraque unum.
R. Ye, who sometimes were far off, are made nigh by the Blood of Christ. * For He is our Peace, Who hath made both one.
V. It pleased [the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell, and,] having made peace through the Blood of His Cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself, [by Him, I say,] whether they be things in earth or things in heaven.
