R. Beatus vir qui inventus est sine macula, et qui post aurum non abiit, nec speravit in thesauris pecuniae * Ideo stabilita sunt bona illius in Domino.
V. Potuit enim transgredi, et non est transgressus; facere mala, et non fecit.
R. Ideo stabilita sunt bona illius in Domino.
R. Blessed is the man that is found without blemish: and that hath not gone after gold, nor put his trust in the treasure of money *Therefore are his goods established in the Lord.
V. He that could have transgressed, and hath not transgressed: and could do evil things, and hath not done them.
R. Therefore are his goods established in the Lord.
