R. Ipso anno, / quo de hac vita erat exitúrus, † quibúsdam discípulis secum conversántibus, quibúsdam longe manéntibus, * Sanctíssimi sui óbitus denuntiávit diem.
V. Praeséntibus indicens, ut audíta per siléntium tégerent: † abséntibus índicans, quod vel quale eis signum fíeret quando eius ánima de córpore exíret.
R. Sanctíssimi sui óbitus denuntiávit diem.
R. In the year that was to be the last of his life, while some of his disciples were talking with him and some remained further away, * the most holy man foretold the day of his death.
