R. Cum vidisset beatus Andreas crucem,
exclamavit et dixit: salve crux quamdiu fatigaris? * Exspecta me sicut exspectasti Dominum et magistrum meum. V. O bona crux diu desiderata et jam concupiscenti animo praeparata R. Exspecta me sicut exspectasti Dominum et magistrum meum. V. Gloria Patri R. Exspecta me sicut exspectasti Dominum et magistrum meum. |
R. When blessed Andrew saw the cross, he exclaimed and said, hail cross, how long have you tired [of waiting for me]? * Look out for me, as you looked for my Lord and master.
V. O good cross, long have I desired you, and now you are ready to fulfill the desire of my soul. R. Look out for me, as you looked for my Lord and master. V. Glory be... R. Look out for me, as you looked for my Lord and master. |
